Happy Monday!!!

FI and I just extended our scouting trip to Maui in Sept. from 3 nights to 4 for only $70 more pp!! Happy Monday to everyone

Oh wow!  Sounds awesome.  Congrats and Happy Monday!  Weekend was so HOT.  I feel like 5 pounds have melted off (I wish).  Went on a second round of dress shopping.  The first shop was a total distaster.  I went into the fitting room at 1:15 pm and left the shhop at 1:30 pm.  That alone should tell you what I thought of the place.  The second salon was much better and they were having a Watters trunks show.

Jealous.  We're looking at a trip now in August with packages so cheap.  I'm spending the day cleaning blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, etc. as the house gets officially listed tomorrow!! My fingers are all wrinkled from the water bucket!!

I don't have class today, and it's flipping HOT out, so I'm sitting in my workout gear in our living room basking in the joy of newly installed a/c. I'm trying to figure out how to motivate myself to do some pilates right now, but it's just procrastination central 'round here!

Other than that, I'm trying to figure out what to give my cousin as a wedding present. They want cash or a charitable donation to Girl Guides, but I hate giving cash.

So I'm thinking 5 Christmas ornaments, with instructions to open one each year. I did that once years ago, and my friends loved it.

How fun! I am so jealous that you'll actually know what everything looks like before your wedding. I know you said you are getting married at Olowalu, will you primarily be scouting reception sites while you're there?

Kaesha I like the Watters collection hence why I went to this salon since they were having a trunk show. Below are  the highlights of the visit.  Mind my matted hair it was ghastly hot before I arrived at the salon but the damage was done. I gravitate towards the last two.

Yes we will be looking for places to have dinner, checking out where we may want to stay, cake tasting, engagement shoot with our photographer, and hair and make-up trials!!!! I'm super excited because I have never been to Maui before :) We may have to throw in a SCUBA trip since we were certified last year and at the very least a snorkling trip to Molokini........ahhhhhhhhhhh can't wait!

OMG it has been super hot!! We were in Vegas Wed-Fri for my B-DAY and it was pretty stinkin hot. I got back and all the water loss made me lose like 3 lbs. Too bad I gained it all back when I ate 1/2 of the 1/4 sheet cake I got LOL

Trying on wedding dresses can be a workout for sure. Sounds like that first place wasn't even worth the time to get there. Best wishes on your hunt for dresses. I plan to really start shopping after our scouting trip.

Very jealous of the scouting trips.  We just booked a Phoenix/Vegas trip for October instead of a scout trip.  My 93 yr old grandmother can't travel so we felt it was more important to use the money to visit her instead.  Going to take her some pics and samples of the DIY items I have completed at the time.  Excited that we were able to work in the Vegas part, but the first thing the kids said was you better not get married and cancel Maui. LOL Never!

Another vote for pockets.  It's now 6pm and I finally have a few minutes to catch up with you gals!  Lyn, LOVE dresses with pockets.  Almost bought one myself, hehe.  Today basically sucked and the week is only getting worse, but I'm going to Barre class in 30 minutes for the first time in 4 months, so hopefully that helps instead of hurts (although I know I will be hurting tomorrow!)
