I'm new to posting (I've done a lot of reading over the last few days though!) and appreciate any help in advance. So, thank you!
My fiance and I plan to get married on Maui next summer- estimating about 110 people max. I'm so excited and want to keep it all in check and not get stressed! We're heading on a scouting trip mid October.
OUr biggest question is venue-- The first thought is a private estate. Sugarman's and Olowalu seem to be the most popular. Has anyone rented another estate/ house in South Maui or West Maui for a group this size? Any suggestions are welcome!
If we go this route . . . Are there bartenders we can hire and provide our own alcohol. Hello Costco! Also, does anyone know if you can return unopened bottles the next day?
This is an interesting one -- my fiance has access to wholesale, delicious seafood that we'd like to provide to a caterer. Has anyone worked with anyone who might be game for that? All suggestions are welcome.
The final question . . . are all hotels super expensive? My list of ideals include outdoor ceremony and reception on the beach, or grass near the beach.
