Slacking on thank you cards...

We got engaged back in December, and (I'm sure you're all sick of hearing our story by now) when FI proposed, he did it on camera at our old job, and all of our friends and family were down the hall watching the proposal, and were there for the engagement party that day.

We received cards & gift cards from several people and I still haven't sent out thank you cards Foot in mouth

I know, I know... it's not good. Is it too late, or is it better late than never? I bought some thank you cards last week but I haven't started working on it yet. I work A LOT (between my FT job, teaching PT at the local University, freelance sports video production on the weekends and my photography business) and when I am home I'm always so exhausted that I keep putting it off. I have Sunday off and I can work on them then if it's not too late.

Better late than never...absolutely.  Keep a stack in your purse.  Write 1-2 when you  have down time - on hold on the phone, waiting for water to boil, whatever.  No need to tackle them all in 1 sitting.

Agreed.  Way better to get one late than not at all.

My wedding took place over 4 months ago and I am still writing Thank yous :( I was waiting for the final pictures from my professional photog to make the cards. And after I got those I sorta just lost momentum with the wedding stuff since everything was over with. I still plan to do it though, so I also say better late than never!

My girlfriend got married in November and my parents JUST received a thank you card (granted they moved to another country 2 days after the wedding).  It was so heartfelt and personal and I agree, better late than never!
