New to the Knot looking for Help!

Aloha, We are in the process of planning a wedding on either Oahu or Maui, but need a place to start!  We are interested in renting out a private estate, does anyone have any suggestions of good sites to use?  In addition, we are interested in hiring a wedding planner/consultant to help us have a stress free day  So was wondering if anyone had any good referrals?

For Maui, there are two larger wedding venue estates—Sugarman's and Olowalu, both in different areas. We are getti married at Olowalu, so are a handful of brides on the board. Love that place! But I am sure there are a lot of private, smaller estates to look into. As for a wedding planner, I highly suggest Cherise from The Perfect Wedding. She is great! We fired our previous wedding coordinator only to hire Cherise in her place. She is on top of it, very friendly, follows-through with requests and overall is great. I have not heard one bad thing about her—only great! Happy planning and hope this helps!

Good idea going with a coordinator, we didn't and I regretted it!

I'm getting married on Oahu and I'm using Rev Rosemary Hil from myhawaiiwedding.com. She planned everything and she will be marrying us. I dint have and info on private place though. We are getting married right on Waikiki. Good luck with your planning!!!

Oasis World Estates have some popular Oahu sites ranging from small to large. Not sure if they also coordinate but I know they refer lots of vendors if you choose their sites. Welcome and congrats!
