white orchid

I wanted to use white orchid for hair accessory for bridesmaids. FLorist said it would be too expensive. Im considering silk ones, does anyone know any good ones and where I could buy them?

I found these-- but when I asked my WC, he said a fresh orchid would be cheaper and is included in the cost of hair. I guess that's just for the bride though?

That's odd, I'm putting orchids in my hair, it's way cheaper (like $75 cheaper) then the hair pieces I looked at.

    thanks for the infor guys!
I'm getting married in Oahu and told my florist I wanted Phalaenopsis orchids - my theme is yellow. This is exactly what she said - that kind of orchid is not grown locally but we can order them in bulk, it may be expensive.

@breaness - i should ask my stylist, I didn't even ask my stylist  I thought that I have to get it myself.

I ordered my hair flower from etsy seller Mikiye.  I decided to go with a silk flower because I wanted something that was a little embellished (mine also had a small feather on it and crystals in the middle).  But you can definitely order an orchid locally.

My hair stylist actually brought a bag of dendrobium orchids with her (I didn't know to ask - she just did it!), and she kindly made hair flowers for my mom and BMs.  Granted they were pink, but that's what we wanted for their flowers, so it was perfect.

If you want a real white orchid, it should be doable and still cheaper than the ones that you can get online (or at least the ones that are really nice - many hair fascinators are cheap and look it).
