Did you register? What did you register for?

'Cause I gotta say, I was given a Le Crueset dutch oven as a wedding present, and gah I love it to pieces!

Anyone register for china?

We registered for little things, but both of us had fully stocked homes when we moved in together a few months ago.

We just have the honeymoon registry. We have anything we need since weve been living together for so long. :)

We also already have a fully stocked house already.  I am going to register for a few things for my shower, but nothing big.  We won't register for china cause we will never use it.

I want a Le Crueset dutch oven SO BAD! FI makes fun of me for drooling over it because..I NEVER COOK! Hahahah..he's the chef in this relationship and he loves everything food..but I don't know, I just want one! I tell him maybe I'll be more motivated to get into the kitchen if I had one ;)

I always think it's interesting when couples have been living together and say they don't need anything. My husband and I have no been living together for 5½ years and, holy cow, could we ever use an upgrade on our stuff! There's a lot of university (and high school!) age quality garbage here.

lamoureux - I've got to admit, I love it pretty hard. I do almost all my winter cooking in it! Soups, stews, casseroles, no-knead bread! It all goes in it.

We did the honeymoon registry and will be doing another one with a few house items that we would like.  Honesty, I wish home depot had a registry.  Now that's stuff we really need!

We registered at Bed Bath & Beyond, Crate & Barrel, & Macy's. We're having a "kitchen" themed shower next week in Nashville, TN (his aunt is throwing it). SO, we felt we needed to register for items for that. As well as upgrade EVERYTHING. We have crappy old towels from when we were in college...many moons ago. I wanted new dishes, & tupperware, knife set, etc...you name it, we're upgrading it. The other good thing to consider is a lot of places have a "completion program" where even if you didn't register for it, you can get 10% off items in their stores. BB&B has that as well as  C&B. So it might help you out 6 months down the road (which seems to be the cut off point for some) in buying that new couch or towels or whatever. Plus, it was a lot of fun going & doing that together :)

We had absolutely nothing so we registered for everything!

We did register for china, but never got any and decided it was for the best. We have no space to store it anyways :P

I am happy to say that we really do use everything we received. Alyson I am with you on those dutch ovens! I didn't get a LeCreuset but I have a Martha Stewart type that it amazing! I love it.

I want to register for practical things because all of our kitchen stuff is old and needs to be replaced (also circa high school/college days). Future husband wants to register at Best Buy. "Camcorder for the future kids" and "Couples play station games". Blah.
