Oahu Beach to Marry On?

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to decide which beach to get married on.  It will only be myself and my fiance along with our parents. We are considering Makapu'u Beach or Lanikai...any thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks!!

I am in the same place I am getting married in about 2 weeks and only have parents and a sister coming to the wedding. We decided on a North Shore beach Sunset. It is beautiful up there and quite due to the fact that the major city is on the other side. Hope this helps!

    Those are both beautiful beaches!!

At Makapu'u you will have a better chance of having your own little spot. The cliffs, rocks, and beach is gorgeous and you have a view of some little islands, and the lighthouse.

Lanikai is one of my fav beaches to go to! I just saw a wedding there last week on a Monday! It is GORGEOUS but can be crowded, depending on when you want to go. Just beach, blue water, and little islands again. You should probably check the tides to make sure that it is not a super high tide when you want to get married.

    Hope that helps!

We got married on Kailua Beach. It was gorgeous and there's wasn't a ton of people. If you look at some wedding company websites they'll have a list of locations that might give you some ideas.
