Great Trip to Vegas, Now I need help with a Map

We had a great week in Phoenix and Vegas.  So glad we decided to take this trip to have FH meet my Grandma than to do a scouting trip. She gave her thumbs up which ment a lot to both of us. Now I need to get back to wedding planning.  I am looking for an easy program to design a map for the direction postcards for my daughters invitations and then if its easy enough will use for our maps.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Sounds like fun trip!

I don't know of any programs to do that, but I know there's gotta be some.  I think a lot of ppl just use PS. We made Maui wedding maps for our invitations.

Yes, Kimmy How did you make them? I have looked on the DIY board but most of those brides used Google and then paste into another program to cut them smaller.  We want them to be a little less detailed with a touch of creativity.
BTW I am amazed that you already have your maps done. LOL

They were done in photoshop.  One of my gfs actually made them for me.  She does graphic design for her job.  I bet you could hire her to make them for you.

Not only are our maps done, but so are our photo share cards and wedding enclosure cards.  Out main invitation and invitation inserts are at the printers right now!

DH used Adobe Illustrator for all of our paper elements.  If you're not already familiar with it, there's definitely a learning curve and I think PS / Paint Shop Pro are a bit easier to learn.  DH hand traced ours from an existing image online.  You can download an Illustrator CS trial and try it yourself using the pencil tool.  But again, there's a learning curve and finding an affordable designer to create the graphic for you might be worth your while.

Thanks Tanq. So frustrating because my father and brother are both graphic designers, my brother with a major firm, and neither have "the time" right now to show me. I give it to my brother because he was just dx with an life changing illness and he has three little ones but my dad is dropping the ball because he doesn't want to travel. Oh well I will figure it out.
