THis woman recently moved to Hawaii after scamming brides in San Diego CA, Google her REAL name, Tonya Fiala and you will read all about her.  She was sued in court and lost, she promised photos but never delivered them AFTER cashing checks.  Her website claims she has been in Hawaii for 11 years but that is a lie!  All new brides be warned!  She has a great sample book, provides a few unsuspecting references then is a disaster!!!!!!!!!!

While you are more than welcome to post negative reviews, bashes are not permitted on these boards. You must provide factual evidence to support your claims of your own personal experience, otherwise you're into the slander and heresay category. Pointing to equally anonymous reviews around the net (yahoo answers? really?) just doesn't do it for me. Frankly, they all sound like they were written by the same person.

And just because I'm crankily marking essays at my desk right now: the use of multiple exclamation points is a crime against nature. If you want people to take you seriously, and I assume you do since you started an account just to bash this photographer, you might want to avoid writing like a 13 year old girl.

Yes, Tonya Ellis, owner of Nalu Photos is a scammer. She took my wedding pictures in Hawaii 9 months ago. She never sent us the pictures and disappeared from our radar.  I truly do not understand her actions; she took time to meet us and take all the pictures, but never sent us the pictures as promised.  She truly knows how to ruin a wedding's memories!!
