Anyone get married on beach without musician?

Sooo... just curious, has anyone gotten married on the beach without a musician, like an ukulele player?  Was it awkward silence or did the ceremony flow..... lol... i know kinda an awkward question!

I hate budgets, it just got a little tighter :(  Our ceremony is seriously only 15-20 minutes long and I think Kahu Bruce will do an opening chant.  My fiance says we can do without the ukulele player because we would really only need it for the ceremony, but they charger per hour.

No musician for us and I've seen videos and photos of several weddings without musicians.

I don't think they're necessary. I say listen to the sound of the ocean coming in. =)

Ditto!  To be honest, I don't remember the music as I walked down the aisle.  I just remember looking at DH's face and feeling very excited for what was about to happen.

I think a musician is optional, especially on the beach.  Sound of the crashing waves and wind might drown out the music anyways.

We didn't have a beach wedding and it was worthwhile to get the musician (harpist) for the full hour.  She played songs to entertain guests before the ceremony (mostly popular music and broadway songs) and I requested her to play different songs during the processional, bride's entrance, lei ceremony, sand ceremony, and recessional.

Since we had some musically-inclined guests, they had rave reviews about it!  It's definitely a nice touch, if you can afford it.  But I think it's optional.
