NWR: When FI doesn't listen

After my workout a couple hours ago, I went to get a shower.  I realized that it was around the time that FI normally calls me, so I grabbed my phone and sent him a text saying "I'm getting a shower, then I'll call you.  Ily!"  I put the phone on the bathroom counter and hopped in the shower.  Five minutes later the phone rings and it's FI's ringtone - and I'm standing there washing my hair, lol.  I just rolled my eyes and called him back after my shower.

Do you have any funny stories of your FI not paying attention?  :-P

That exact thing happens to me ALL THE TIME. And he NEVER checks his voicemail!!! 

I called him this morning and left him a voicemail that said "Hey hun, the tux place just called me. Be sure to go by there today after work to approve the tuxes. They'll be shipping them back tomorrow morning, so it HAS to be today. They close at 6. Love you, bye." 

Ten minutes later, he called me back- he was just "returning my call." Of course, he didn't check his voicemail. UGH!!!!!

Ahaha. The other day FI called me while I was running on the treadmill to chat about our house that is being built. I had to turn off the treadmill, pause my music and stop the timer on my phone to talk to him. I was out of breath and told him I was working out. He said okay, I won't keep you, and hung up.

I put my headphones back on, turned the treadmill on and restarted the timer on my phone. Five minutes later he calls back and needs me to do something for him. I get off the treadmill and do it, fine, whatever. Get back on the treadmill, do all that stuff all over again, and he calls me back AGAIN as I was trying to finish the last five minutes of my run. I answered the phone with "WHAT?" and he acted all hurt. But seriously, I TOLD you I was exercising and you keep interrupting me just to chat about stuff. lol, it was slightly annoying.

I can't stand it when I tell him something like I bought something on line or I am doing this with such and such on such and such night. Then when it comes around " you never told me blah blah blah!" That drives me insane, and he will not ever say that I am right. It is always no you didn't tell me that. AHHH lol
