Day of coordinator

Does anyone know of any "day of" coordinators in the Mobile area that are affordable? The ones I've seen have been outrageous. I can't justify spending $500 just for someone to manage a two (three hours tops!)  hour event...

    I am looking for one as well in Dothan. I have thought about finding a fellow bride or a good friend to be the day-of coordinator. I just need someone to light candles and tell us when to walk out!

    I'm using Southern Sounds DJ from Fairhope and Torrie is going to help with "day of" coordinating!  She's really nice and helpful.  If you already have music...then just try asking a friend or cousin to help out day of.  Ones that have been married recently or are engaged would probably take it seriously and do a good job!  Good luck!

    SouthernBelle - I'm from Slocomb and I would kind of like to have a day of coordinator too! Do you know of anyone? We have a family friend that has done it before and we may just use her. I really just want someone that has a clue and can keep everyone organized and make sure everything goes as planned!

    I am having difficulty finding one as well, DeputysWife. I know a woman, her name is Ashley Weed-Thomas, I used to do her pageants back in the day.She owns Elegant Occasions in Dothan and is well-versed in the weddings world. Would you like her information?

    Lol, thanks, I actually graduated from high school with Ashley! We're friends on Facebook, so I can just contact her that way. Are you using her? I knew she had Elegant Occasions but it never even crossed my mind to think of using her! She definitely knows her stuff!

    I know of a DOC in Atlanta who is very reasoanble and does weddings in Alabama, "weddings by stephanie Marie". I used them for my wedding -  price was $400http://www.weddingsbystephaniemarie.com
