I would like to start out by saying that Gary is a very nice guy who really goes out of his way to help his brides. He was very patient with trying on lots of dresses. I always felt welcomed with his friendliness. He really appears to care about his brides. Clarence on the other hand, I found as rude and he would say things about brides to Gary or under his breath. On their website it says that: Whether you spend five minutes or five hours in our Salon, you will never be rushed, pressured or neglected. Over the course of a couple of months, I have felt like this repeadly, especially when you are an "old" customer and there are new ones coming in who need a dressing room or whatnot as there are 2 mirrors & 3 dressing rooms. I found the dress I wanted to order, which I had seen the same dress in Atlanta which was labled as a Venus II. The dress at Bridal Bliss was labled as The Principality of Monaco, inspired by Grace Kelly. The dress in Altanta was labled as polyester, and the one at Bridal Bliss 100% silk. I was concerned because the exact same dress had 2 different designers. The Monaco dress did not have any tags on the inside of the dress only tags hanging off on the outside. When I inquired about this, I was told that my dress would have the same tags stating it was a Monaco dress. I decided to go ahead with the Monaco dress as it was supposedly silk and would be more convenient as it was closer than Atlanta, although the price points were about the same. My dress comes in and the inside label on the dress says Venus II !! They are falsely adverstising a dress as a Pricipality of Monaco dress made in MGM in Hollywood and the lace coming from the south of France. I was very disappointed in Gary for doing this. Why??? Is it to make it seem like the dress is more special? Before I even bought the dress, I was told that it was houte coture. The website also says that they are the only place in the southeastern region exclusively designated to sell the Principality of Monaco. Whatever that means. I'm not even sure if this line exists. Also, I had an issue with trying on their petite sample dress, which I was told would be the same lenght as the dress I would order. I expressed my concern as my hallow to hem (which I measured independly) was several inches shorter than the standard petite hallow to hem of 55 inches. I was told everything would be fine and that the lenght would be fine. Turns out, the dress lenght was too long and I would have to wear much higher heels, when I wanted to wear kitten heels. Gary also said that he called them & they said not to do measurements to just order a petite..which I question. The store in Atlanta said that they would definitely take my measurement!.. it's the same company.. Venus!! I am very disappointed in having my dress experience ruined with what I thought I was getting in a dress, which was completely falsely advertised as. Gary appears to be such a kind person, that it saddens me that he would allow this to happen. If the dress is Venus, please advertise it as so! It would make all brides out there happy to know that that is the dress that they will be receiving. Overall, very disappointed and have never had these things happen to me before. I am a very consiousious person, maybe OCD, especially when it comes to details, and did not appreciate Clarence saying that I was worried about nothing and my concerns not validated..whether my concern was the lenght or the fact that the veil was obviously too dark for the dress. My dress also took much longer to come in that what I was orignially told. Every concern I had in truth, turned out there was something wrong that came about. I have dealth with the business over months, long enough to know that someone needs to speak up about what is actually going on in that store. Another headache that I had was with my dress alterations. I had it altered but on one of the sides, it did not lay flat as if more needed to be taken out. Loretta said that it would come out with steaming. C'mon seriously, no it wont. But I played along with her, and had it steamed and ironed and what do you know, nothing changed. I felt like she wasn't taking the time to properly fit the dress on me so that it looks perfect. I had to bring it back to her, to her shop downtown, and when I got it back, it had some sort of stains on the lace along the buttons. She said she didnt know what it was and to bring it back to Bridal Bliss. I did, and it happened to be that the designer of the dress, Linda, happened to be there for a trunk show and said that she would send something to clean the dress. I had to wait a couple of weeks, but they were unable to take the stain out and told me to take it to the dry cleaners.. all the while it is getting closer and closer to my wedding. I brought it to several dry cleaners.. some said that they could possibly get it out, but wouldn't know til the ENTIRE dress was cleaned for hundreds of dollars, or some said they didn't think it would come out. Bascially, somehow the dress got stains on it, and instead of giving me a percentage back for having an imperfect dress, the store just sent me elsewhere to spend my own money. I decided to just wear the dress with the stains. Overall, I was pleased with my dress, but not at all with the customer service I received and the fact that they are falsely advertising their dresses. I was very angry, but now I just feel sad for them. You want your dress experience to be something you enjoy, not what I had to go thru. What compelled me to write this review is the blatant false advertising. There are no reviews online stating that this is the case. I wish there would have been one, that way I would have known not to deal with these type of people in this business. I'm not sure if any past brides had this concern when their dress came in, cared or even noticed. This is not right! I trusted their expertise all along the way, although I had my doubts. Please be warned from my firsthand experience. I trusted these people and thought had developed a relationship, and felt duped. Please have an honest business.
