Are you changing dresses?

Are you going to change into a different wedding dress during some point in the day/night?  I just got done ordering my "reception dress" so it got me thinking.  I like my wedding dress, but it's a big, heavy, satin pick-up ballgown that requires me to wear a crinoline underneath, and there's no way I could dance in that!  So I just ordered a lightweight satin a-line that will likely not need a crinoline.  I will be changing into that second dress right before the open dance floor, so I will be in my original dress for all of the ceremony, pictures, first dance, dinner, cake cutting, etc.

My wedding dress is fairly lightweight but it still has a train and will be hot, so I bought a short white  dress from DB on clearance that I love. I may or may not wear it for the reception, and unless the weather is really nice (& I'm not dying from the heat) I'll probably just change when we leave the reception. But yeah I'll definitely keep my wedding dress on for the big stuff.

No I am wearing that baby all night long!! I can't leave in it though. :( We have to drive to atlanta right after the wedding  for a plane in the morning.

I just bought a reception dress! My wedding is Oct 8th, so I'm not sure if it will be cold or hot.....My wedding dress was super hot after taking bridal pictures for 2 hours, so I figured I would want something more comfortable for the recpetion so I can enjoy the day with friends and family without being miserable!

I've personally decided to wear the lighter dress the whole night.  So now I have an extra wedding dress, lol.
