I know of at least two additional barn locations in Alabama, but I'm not sure if they are in locations that you would like.

    Huckleberry Farms in Jasper: http://myhuckleberryfarm.com/

    American Village in Montevallo: http://www.americanvillage.org/messages/241.html

Also, the Serenity House is not a barn, but it is kind of rustic and you might like it as well.  http://www.serenityhouseofspringville.com/index.html

Check out Swann Lake in Cahaba Heights... It looks really pretty. You should be able to find pictures of it here some where:http://tothegathering.blogspot.com/ The contact for the property is Neillie Butler (that's her blog).

We fell in love with J&D, so we're getting married there in May. Swann Lake was really the only other place I found to compare to it.

    Hope this helps!

It's kinda far south, but have you been to Oak Hollow Farms in Fairhope?  It's an awesome venue with a great staff.  I've never been to a wedding there, but have attended some charity events and it's really amazing what they can do with the barn and the farm's beautiful grounds.

If you are willing to go little farther north, there is Whistle Hollow Farm and Restaurant.  It is in Ardmore, TN (on the TN/AL state line) and has that rustic/farm wedding theme.  They have great food and a great area to have a wedding at an affordable price.  I went to a wedding there and it was amazing.  You can go to www.whistlehollow.com.

I'm getting married at the Stables at Russell Crossroads. It is the most beautiful barn I've ever seen...it's in Alexander City, Alabama (Lake Martin) 1 hr south of Birmingham. Look it up on facebook, it's listed as The Stables at Russell Crossroads. Absolutely stunning. It is placed in an area that was built to look like an old timey community...little shops in log cabins, a market that was built to look like a barn, and a 5 star restaurant Spring House, who's exec. chef has been on Today in Alabama, Southern Living etc. I'm getting married in the barn next October and Spring House is doing the catering...think southern comfort food...shrimp and grits, pork belly biscuits, BBQ brisket sliders, mason jar bread pudding, miniature pecan pies...Great venue!!!!
