You all are sooooo beyond wonderful!  I was just checking in because I am not at work doing my usual knotting and this is such a great send off for me!!

The 2nd dress is great! It is everything that I wanted and so I am going to change into it directly after the ceremony.  I love it soooo much but unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of me in it because the only other person here is FI and he can't take the picture for obvious reasons =P

This morning, I went to pick up my flowers because I got a bulk order from a local flower shop.  My cousin is a florist so he is coming over tomorrow to do all of the assembling and preparing for them.  Sorry for the bad lighting, they are in my dark, cool basement.  The dark flowers are actually a really nice purple color and not the color of dirt as the pictures suggest, lol

Ahh so pretty!! They're lovely colors! Are these for bouquets or centerpieces? I'm surprised you got them on a Thursday! I'm doing my own bouquets and I'm worried about picking them up too early.. probably way more worried than I should be haha. Did your flowers come with any specific instructions on how to care for them til Sunday?

Nati,  most of the flowers aren't open yet so the extra days will give them time to open.  The florist put them in a bucket with water and plant food.  Their instructions were to store them in the darkest, coolest place possible.  I have read that flowers also last longer when a few drops of bleach is added to the water so I will do that tomorrow.

My cousin had a lot of great tips like, I am using hydrangea so he said that if they start to wilt at all, cut the tip of stem and hit it with a hammer to break open the tubes inside.  Since the stem is so thick, sometimes, they have to be shaken up a little so they don't get blocked.

I was a little worried at first that Thursday would be too soon but I think it will be okay.  I have gotten grocery store flowers that lasted a week without petals falling off or wilting so I am hopeful.

They are just for centerpieces, like 2-3 stems per vase and I only have 5 tables so it shouldn't be too much...famous last words, haha.
