Reasonable Florist

Does anyone know of a reasonable florist in the Northwest Arkansas area? I've got sticker shock since I was just quoted $7,000 for our flower proposal!!!

Who did you get a quote from?

I used Rose of Sharon (in Fayetteville) and loved them.  Althea Wiles is the owner/florist.

We sat down and talked about everything we envisioned...and then she asked our budget.  She then came up with an option for our vision within budget and an option of our vision with no regards to budget.  We then sat down and worked out an in-between. 

I think we ended up spending about $2400 for:
2 bridal bouquets (one for bridals, one for wedding, and no tossing bouquet),
groom's boutineer,
3 groomsmen boutineers,
3 dad and 3 grandfather boutineers,
1 ringbearer boutineer,
3 bridesmaid corsages (on a keepsake bracelet),
2 flowergirl pomanders,
2 mom and 2 grandmother corsages (pin on kind)
2 large altar arrangements (that then were moved inside to reception)
2 fall foliage and floral wreaths
arrangement for memorial table

For the reception tables, we had half the tables have an assortment of fall gourds and pumpkins and candles (candles not from the florist), and the other half had these neat stylized trees, gourds, and candles.  We did a sweetheart table for me and my groom and used my bouquet as the main piece surrounded by gourds, pumpkins, and candles.

We had an outdoor ceremony (on the terrace of Pratt Place) in the fall, so I didn't want to spend a lot on florals for decorating the area.  The two wreaths and the two large arrangements were the only things we did.
