I just want to say that I recently got married at Creekwood Gardens and I'm sure everyone's experience is different but mine was not good. I do have to say that my wedding was beautiful and the assistants were wonderful; however, me and Lisa (the owner/coordinator) did not have a good relationship. My advice to anyone planning on getting married there is to document everything! She gave me a flower budget in the spring and then one month prior to my wedding she tried to tell me my budget was $600 less than what she had originally stated. Luckily I had the email where she had quoted the budget. Throughout the planning process she would tell me something was "no problem" and then later it was an issue. She was very rude to me, my family and my wedding party the night of our rehearsal. She didn't even bother to show up for my wedding b/c she decided setting up for a Bridal Fair was more important than her obligation as a wedding coordinator. This was actually fine with me b/c it was less stressful not having her there. She was very difficult for my vendors to work with. My wedding was very beautiful, but I can honestly say she was the ONLY thing that stressed me out. I had a friend come out the morning of the wedding to set out of few items and Lisa texted me to tell that my friend never showed up when she was in fact there. She created a lot of unnecessary stress.
My advice to anyone getting married at Creekwood Gardens is document everything and handle your contracts on your own (i.e. catering, flowers, DJ, etc.) You need to be in control of your money.
