Creekwood Gardens

I just want to say that I recently got married at Creekwood Gardens and I'm sure everyone's experience is different but mine was not good. I do have to say that my wedding was beautiful and the assistants were wonderful; however, me and Lisa (the owner/coordinator) did not have a good relationship. My advice to anyone planning on getting married there is to document everything! She gave me a flower budget in the spring and then one month prior to my wedding she tried to tell me my budget was $600 less than what she had originally stated. Luckily I had the email where she had quoted the budget. Throughout the planning process she would tell me something was "no problem" and then later it was an issue. She was very rude to me, my family and my wedding party the night of our rehearsal. She didn't even bother to show up for my wedding b/c she decided setting up for a Bridal Fair was more important than her obligation as a wedding coordinator. This was actually fine with me b/c it was less stressful not having her there. She was very difficult for my vendors to work with. My wedding was very beautiful, but I can honestly say she was the ONLY thing that stressed me out. I had a friend come out the morning of the wedding to set out of few items and Lisa texted me to tell that my friend never showed up when she was in fact there. She created a lot of unnecessary stress.

My advice to anyone getting married at Creekwood Gardens is document everything and handle your contracts on your own (i.e. catering, flowers, DJ, etc.) You need to be in control of your money.

I'm not sure where exactly that is, but if I ever hear it mentioned, I'll pass it along

It's in Rogers next to Lake Atlanta. StageManager, I tried PM'ing you but I keep getting an error message. I'll try it again later.

I've heard of it!  Someone had actually recommended it to me, but only because they had spoken to them at a bridal expo and they didn't actually use the venue.  It's very appealing because of the price, but I'll definitely give the warning if I hear of anyone considering them!

    Hi Ladies

I am the owner of Creekwood Gardens and This particular bride was very mistaken. I have been a wedding planner for 10 years and have worked very hard to build my business. My wonderful assistant was there the day of her wedding which she agreed to because I was doing a bridal fair just across town. The issues with her flowers were because she changed her total amount of guests which increased her tables and thus costing more for her flower budget.
Needless to say, I have had a ton of weddings at my place and I have more Thank You's then rude comments like this one. Please meet me and get a tour for yourself before you judge.. Happy Planning!
