Hello Ladies!! Alittle update: We went and looked at Dupont Country Club and Adelphia in Deptford. Dupont CC was gorgeous but a little more than we wanted to spend. It is still in the running. Adelphia included EVERYTHING but was a little too guady for my taste and bad location (next to AMC theatre and across from Deptford Mall). Everyone made fun of me because I kept saying its across from the MALL!! Ha... I dunno why that bothered me that much. I have been emailing so many reception places and a couple of people have gotten back to me... I wanted to see if anyone had positive or negatives for any of them:Concord Country Club (on 202, just passed 202/Rt 1 intersection)White Clay Creek CCDoubletree Hotels (2 of them.. 1 is next to Concord Mall but looks fabulous and 1 is downtown)Executive Banquet and Conference Center in Newark (on 896)Delaware National CCThanks Ladies!!

Brittany is using the Executive Banquet & Conference Center in Newark.I used UD Clayton Hall, so I wont be much help in your options.

I'm using Executive Banquet & Conference Center also. The building is brand new, and you really get a lot for the $ with their wedding package. It includes the cake, 5 hour top shelf open bar, colored linens, centerpieces (that the guests can take home)- just to name a few. Brad is the banquet manager and he is really nice and good to work with. I hope that helps!

I'm Britt  :)How about this- I just emailed all my reviews to a friend of ours who is getting married.  Why don't I send them on to you, as well?  Email me at msbriarrose@gmail.com.Quite frankly, though, on top of what my email states, I am so extremely pleased and happy with Executive Banquet, I would recommend it a thousand times over.  Brad is wonderful, diligent and supportive, and the place is not gaudy at all (one of my concerns actually- FI and I are minimalists when it comes to decorations, and this place has clean lines and no gaudy, which we were happy about).  Anyway, email me, and if you want pricing as well, I will be glad to share that with you too.Also, I have a couple other reception locations too that are wonderful.  I can include those in the email as well, if you want.

Im getting married at Brandywine Country Club on Shipley Road this October. Its a very nice place and reasonable. I think you should check it out!!

Ditto Lauren - loved Brandywine CC.  It was gorgous, and inc alot for the $. We are getting married at Hartefeld National Golf Course - prices are on their website.  Includes centerpieces, cake, limo, hotel for night of, linens, and amazing food.  They have a great outdoor area for a ceremony, and a beautiful back up space for bad weather (not sure if you need a ceremony spot, or if your going with a church).  I highly recommend.

I had my wedding at the executive earlier this month and everything was beautiful! It went so smooth. Couldn't have asked for a better location. The food was so good I couldn't finish half my plate. Hope this helps!

I second Hartefeld!  I was married there in April and it was awesome.  For me, Kelly was more than wonderful!  You get a lot included in the package.Besides my fiascoe with DuPont CC, White Clay Creek did not impress me - in fact, they never called us back!
