Cake help

Hello Knotties,I will soon be looking at ordering our 1^st year anniversary cake….I was a bad, bad girl and didn’t save the top layer. I just couldn’t picture us eating old cake. LOL…I got married in Arkansas, so I would not have any idea who does these here….Looking at more like a mini wedding cake, not looking for those from the grocery stores. 

Would love to have Anita Kline do it, but I am not sure if she does anniversary cakes....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Alices Piece of Cake in Powell does them. She recommended us to do this instead of saving the small top layer because of freezer burn.

I have a co-worker who is starting her own business making cakes and cake balls. I've hired her to make the red velvet cake balls for our wedding. They are so delicious! It would be something different for the anniversary celebration. Let me know if you're interested and I gan get you her information.

I know Sauer Cakes does anniversary cakes for anyone who uses them for their wedding, so I'm sure they'd be happy to do one for you! (& I think they'll even replicate your wedding cake!

Mrs. Goodmans is the BEST!  And, Julia Cakes (she does it out of her home near Polaris).  She used to be the cake baker/decorator for Mrs. Goodman's so the cake is the same.  They are both amazing, and they both do anniversary cakes. Julia is doing our wedding cake and we already decided she will do an anniversary cake for us next year instead of saving the top layer.  Enjoy!
