wedding planning timeline

Hi ladies!!
My mom is planning on coming to town to help with some of the details for the wedding (its June 3rd)  The problem is that she can only cone in November or the ender of February.  The only things left for me to do are the flowers, menu tasting, invitations, and small things for the decor.  So, my question is, when should I ahve her come? I feel like Feb might be pushing it too late for the flowers and of course the invitations will already be done by then.  How early did you guys do your flowers and menus??? Is November too early? Thanks:-)

I went in February or March to the florist (6 months before) and ordered invitations online.  I assembled the invitations sitting on the floor watching tv, so I'm no help.  If you're having a sit down dinner, and will have guests pick an entree on their response card, then you can definitely work on menus any time after you do the tasting and pick the food.  If you're waiting to pick the food, the obviously that would alter the menu printing schedule.

Can you call the florist(s) and ask how far in advance you can schedule an appointment?  They may prefer one month over another.

Hmm...that's a hard one but personally I would have her come as early as possible to get those things done sooner than later.
