Claire's Fashions?

Does anyone know anything about this bridal salon? I'm visiting my sister in Wilmingotn next weekend and want to try on Allure bridal gowns.  This is one of the stores listed on their website, but I can't find any reviews of it on weddingwire or theknot.

They are VERY expensive, just an FYI.  We looked there for my Mom's dress, and the MOB/MOG dresses were over $1,000.

I did get my hair comb there; they have really pretty hair accessories!

At least its worth a look if they have the Allure dresses that you aren't seeing somewhere else.  If you fall in love with one, you dont have to buy it there, you can shop around for a better price.

I am very famliar with Claire's and the owner. Have bought two prom dresses for my daughter there, Colleen-owner allowed my daughter to use her shop for her Fashion school admission project, etc.

We have always been very pleased with them. As far as pricing, they are no more expensive then any where else. Pricing is based on the line that they carry and Allure is a very reasonable one.

Unfortunately, they don't carry the line (at least not yet) that I am using for my bridemaids gowns. But my daughter is my MOH and wants something different and so back to Claire's we go. We always find something we love!

Good luck and again, I highly recommend it to everyone!

They are nice but the prices are high for certain items.  Regardless of cost, it is worth trying on the dresses to see if she even likes them.

In Response to Re: Claire's Fashions?:
I highly reccomend Claire's. You won't find yourself in a dress or gown everyone is wearing.  Everyone complimented me and they have someone if you need alterations.  The service was great and I shopped for MOG gowns several times.  You don't walk out unless you look perfect.
I liked the fact that I didn't have to go all over the place looking for the right accessories too.
    Clairs is a classic.
