Hockessin alteration recs?

I'm located in Hockessin and I need to get my bridesmaids dress for my SIL's wedding taken in and shortened. It's got a lot of material and I only have two weeks so I need to get it right the first time - any recs? I haven't needed alteration services since I moved here so I have no idea where to go. Thanks!

not in hockessin, but there's my seamstress in Dover, she had my gown, RD dress, & my mom's dress done in less than 2 weeks. she's really good on cost too cause she works out of her home. never had any problems either

We used Sophia's Creative Alterations, and we LOVED her.  She was absolutely wonderful.  She did both my dress and my mom's.

She is not in Hockessin, but close enough.  Her number is (302) 777-7515.  She does people like Miss Delaware, Jill Biden, and many other famous women from Delaware, so you know she can be trusted.  Just wait until you see the wall of photos!

Also, I'm in Pike Creek and she's about 15 minutes from me.  Most of the quotes I got from seamstresses in Pike Creek / hockessin were $350 on average.

  Ugghh, one more thing: I only found a wedding gown 3 weeks before the big day, took it t Elaine's the following week, only need two appointments and will pick it up 3 days before the wedding.   Wow!  She works fast and is alo spot-cleaning my sample gown that bought off-the-rack for free!!
