Introduction + Question

Morning ladies! Can't wait to get outside and enjoy this beautiful day!

Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. My name is Jen, I'm from Harford County, MD, and I'm planning a wedding in either Ocean City, MD, Rehoboth, or Dewey, DE areas. Just got engaged on Saturday to my fiance David who moved here from Missouri to be with me. We own a house together and two pups.

Recently I've been staring (drooling) over the Baywood Greens in Long Neck, DE. Does anyone have any experience with them, whether it be a wedding, or just golfing? I hear from my good friend that it is gorgeous, but I figured I would see if anyone has any past experience with working with Lauren/Natalie.

Thanks a lot!

Jen

FI went there to golf with his godfather, and he said it was GORGEOUS.  A few of his golf-saavy friends were a bit jealous that he got to golf there, actually.   I unfortunately don't have any personal experience with it as far as weddings go, and neither does FI, so I can't be of any help there.

A beach wedding will be gorgeous no matter what down there!  We always go down around our birthdays.  I think Rehoboth has some of the best restaurants in the area.

Good luck with everything!  I feel strange saying "welcome" since I'm a newbie myself.
Paprika: I like it when you burp in my ear. It really turns me on.

My parent's beach house is right up the road from Baywood Greens.  My dad plays there and loves it.  The grounds are indeed GORGEOUS!  I have a friend who went to a friends wedding there and said it was lovely.  I even saw the video (my videographer shot it) and it was beautiful.

My cousin got married there in 2007, and the wedding was wonderful.  The place is breathtaking, and there are tons of locations for gorgeous pictures.  The food was decent (it wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst), and the ballroom was big enough to hold everyone without it feeling too big.  It also has a balcony terrace off the ballroom that was really nice when it got hot from dancing.  And the bathrooms were gorgeous (I have a thing for really nice bathrooms, LOL).

The only thing I would warn you about is pricing; from talking with my cousin and his wife, they said it was pricey.  If you are okay with that, though, I would highly encourage you to check it out.  Good luck!

Hey, I'm in Harford Co, MD too! I don't know about that venue, we're using Harry's Savoy ballroom in Wilmington. It's nice to see another MD bride getting married in DE. Tax-free!

Congrats!  I have never been to Baywood but have only heard great things about it.
