Cocktail Reception in Delaware

Hi all!

We are getting married early next summer and wanted to do a small, private wedding with our immediate families which includes a brief reception. Afterwards, we will be leaving for our honeymoon.

We still want to have a reception with all of our family & friends when we get home -- something still somewhat formal & reception-like where we can still decorate and have a DJ and do our cake, but at a cheaper cost than a full wedding reception since we are already doing the above family reception at a cost, so we were thinking maybe a cocktail reception -- still have the drinks and some hors d'ourves/food, desserts, etc.

So down to the point -- Does anyone know of any venues in Delaware or any surrounding areas (PA, MD, NJ) that offer a cocktail reception package or something similar (at a cheaper cost than a full reception), or have any other ideas as to what we can do?

And I wouldn't be opposed to doing a tented reception and just getting a caterer, just don't have enough room in anyone's backyard for a tent and am not sure if there is anywhere that will let you rent a space to place a tent, and if they will allow you to bring alcohol.

Thanks ladies! :)
