Very casual (and inexpensive) venue

Hi everyone!  My sister is getting married this May in an immediate family only civil ceremony.  She wants to have a party with our extended family afterwards and asked me to think of venues.  But I'm totally blocked.  It'll be about 50 people and we need a place in Wilmington where we can just do light hors d'oeuvres and beer/wine.  Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks!

Stewart's Pub on Route 40; I have heard wonderful things about their parties.  There was a couple at our church who did a small reception there after their ceremony, and it was muched loved by those who attended.  Plus, they are a brewery, so the beer is excellent :)

Thanks.  I love Rockwood.  Had my wedding there in 2007.  I have a feeling she may end up there too.

And thanks for the Stewarts suggestion.  My family is based in the City of Wilmington so Strewarts is a bit of a hike - although I've been there and it's a great place for casual events.

I wonder about the deck at Iron Hill on the Riverfront.  Had my rehearsal dinner there and it could be great if the weather is nice - if they'll let us reserve a bit of the deck,  Worth a phone call to find out.

    Thanks again!

Timothy's on the Riverfront has a banquet room now. That could be nice. I don't know of anyone who has used it though.
