Make up cost?

Hey ladies!  I found a make up artist I really like, but he charges $175 for brides and $75 for each additional bridesmaid (this includes travel to the venue).  Is this reasonable for the area?  What did you pay?

It depends on who you go to.  If you're looking for airbrush make up, and you want them to come to you, then yeah 175/75 seems about right to me.  That's about what I paid.

If you go to a salon that does make up, you'll usually pay between $30-$60 for the application. But usually the person doing your make up is an esthetician, and their forte is less makeup and more skin care.

Most freelance makeup artists have to buy their own supplies, which is why they'll charge more than a salon that does make up application does.
