Fun things to do?

So our Best Man is coming up this weekend with his FI or should be FI (suppose to propose today!) and since we are still really new to Wilmington we were trying to think of fun things to do with them while they are here. Any Suggestions?
THANKS!

ummm I feel like all Wilmington has to offer is museums, restaurants and bars lol! When it's cold out there's nothing to do really. Unless it's around Christmas time. Maybe you could go to a restaurant on the Riverfront, there are several good places. If you like going out to bars then Trolley Square isn't a bad area to go.

I will say this - in December, if you have not gone to Longwood Gardens to see their lights I highly suggest you go!!! It's amazing.

    Where are you from?

I would suggest Longwood, even though it isn't December :)

There is Hagley and Winterthur- love those.  There is Rehoboth and the outlets

Are you willing to go to Philly?  There is IKEA, the art museum, Dave and Busters (LOVE that place :)), South Street...

There is also Lancaster, which we have a ton of fun in.  If you want to really take a drive, do Gettysburg.  We are both huge history buffs, so we love either of these places.

Wilmington does have great places to eat.  If you eat at the Riverfront, its nice to walk along the path after, although you will definitely have to bundle up! I would just recommend avoiding the Newak area today because its UD's Homecoming and it will be mobbed.

    Thanks for the ideas guys!
JayElleJayCee- We actually live within walking distance to Trolley Square so that would be good.
MBR- We were going to stay close since they are driving up from DC and thats after the new FI has come from Texas, but I will def remember those for a day when FI and I have nothing to do!
