I just bought my wedding shoes, y'all.  I was on this site called Rue La La?  It's like a sample sale thing that you have to get invited to or whatever, but I bought kate spade shoes for $129.  FI doesn't understand why I'm so excited about shoes... so I needed to squee here.

ALSO... I finally put in requests to sit down at florists.  And a girl I went to college with just opened up a bakery in PA... so I think she's going to do my cake!  This means I can sit back and do nothing now, right? hahahaha

Side note--DE Knotties doing the Engaged Encounter this weekend?

I LOVE RUE LALA!!!!

I have gotten Life Is Good stuff (which can be really expensive otherwise, but got the shirts for $10 each) and Vera Bradley stuff on there.  I got my BM gifts on there- the Vera bags, for $15 each!!!  GREAT prices!  And they have so many different boutiques!

I'm definitely going to have to keep stalking Rue La La for other deals!  I got it from another knottie on the beauty board, and this is the first time I've bought anything.  I'm a sucker for everything kate spade.  I bought a black kate spade purse from Great Stuff up on Concord Pike?  It's a new store where all the proceeds go to the DE Breast Cancer Coalition, and all of the items are donated.  Some are new, and some are gently used... but I got a basically brand new kate spade bag for $39.

I do... there's also one in Limerick PA.  My sister works at the outlets there (not the kate spade one, but in the same outlet section) and I always pop in there and drool while I'm visiting her.

OOOO congrats on the check!!! you should be proud! The two things you didn't have done you now do! plus 1!!! and shoes are soooo important - I don't care what anyone says. I just go in an argument over shoes. Someone told me it doesn't matter what shoe I wear because nobody will see them.... Yeah right! lol. Since you added the shoes - I think you deserve to sit back and kick the feet up for awhile! lol


andddddd I have heard of Rue LaLa but I have never actually been on the website. I desperately need to figure out BM gifts so if someone can invite me that would be awesome! Any help I can get is appreciated!

Engaged Encounter is one of the options for Pre Cana classes if you're getting married in the Catholic Church.  It's either 6 3-hour classes on Wednesday nights or Sunday afternoons.... or do it all in one weekend at an Encounter retreat.  So FI and I opted for the retreat instead, especially since I work my second job on Sundays.... and they would probably shoot me if I requested off 6 Sundays in a row.
