Limo Suggestions

I need to book a limo for our wedding for 10 people, but I only need it for 2-3 hours.  Does anyone have any good recommendations of one they've used in the past?  I am going to have it take me and my BP and my mother from her house to my ceremony/reception location...I will then be taken by myself to my father's house (less than 5 minutes away) for pictures of he and I and then we will arrive there together....since my parents are divorced I wanted to make sure I have special time with each parent that day....

Also, how far out should I book a limo?

TIA

It depends on when you wedding is.  Since yours is around homecoming time period, I would say about 6 months.  If your wedding is around prom season, i would say ASAP.  If you are at a regular time otherwise, 3-4 months.

I used Riverfront Limo, which is located in NJ.  I used them based off a rec from an older Knottie.  I was really, really pleased with them.  They were the cheapest of any place I found- $510 for 4 hours, and that included gratuity, fuel charges, and all tolls, as well as anywhere we wanted to go (so no limit in stops).  They were on time, courteous, and funny (well, he didn't get all upset, and actually laughed, about the pink bra that landed in his lap by accident- that's a whole separate story, though!).  They were easy to get ahold of, called us back quickly with any answers to questions and all our info from booking, and were polite on the phone.  I know the former Knottie, MrsJax, was really happy with them as well.

We tried geting a limo with Dave's, but they were really rude to DH when he called to find out if they had availability- they actually hung up on him, which really ticked me off.  Every other place we checked was expensive- Riverfront was by far the most affordable.

They should be cheaper for you, but do keep in mind that you will have to book for 3 hours, no matter where you go- they all require a 3 hour minimum, so even if you don't need it, you have to pay that amount.

We booked our limo about 7 months out.  But we wanted a limo bus and they were hard to come by, so as soon as I found a good company, I booked it.

The company we used was Dave's Limo.  We worked with Kelle, the vice president, to arrange everything.  She was so nice.  And I was amazed and how well she knew her job.  When she'd ask where the ceremony, reception, or pick up places were, I never even had to give addresses or directions in any way.  She knew where everything was, how far apart they were, and helped me decide on pick up times.  Everything worked out perfectly.  And our driver was great as well.  He was on time, he had no problems with us springing the picture location on him the day of, and was extremely helpful.

I really love that they list all of their rates on their website.  I just hate when I feel like vendors are making up rates depending on your situation.  It's nice to see things listed clearly.

I've only had experiences with Dave's Limo.  Bob & Kelle (the owners) are really nice... I've never had a bad experience with them!
