Fantasia Bridal, Wilmington, DE

I was wondering if any knotties have ordered their dresses from Fantasia Bridal in Wilmington DE.  I found my dress at another store but Fantasia says they can order it for a few hundred dollars less.  Has anybody ordered their dress from Fantasia?  Was the experiencce good? Thanks!!!

I have not heard the best things about Fantasia.  We didn't look there based on a recommendation from my cousin- she went to look at dresses, and again at veils, and both times was ignored until she asked for help, and then they treated her so rude that she gave up and left.  I know there were a couple other Knotties on here that have not had the greatest experiences with them, either.

Who makes your dress?  My suggestion is to get a quote from Fantasia, then call Brides and Grooms- they price match any competitor, including online.  Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to contact Brides and Grooms. My dress is a Maggie Sottero and I was thinking since Fantasia would really just be ordering the dress from Maggie that they couldn't really mess up much!

Don't be so sure... I didn't order a dress, a BM ordered a bra and they royally screwed it up and were completely rude about it. They didn't fix it until the BM showed up in tears... stay clear! Brides and Grooms have been nothing buy great to me and all the other weddings I've been a BM in. Good luck!

I really think Fantasia should step out of the bridal dress industry! Seriously...the games they play at that salon are rediculous: not giving you the designer names, not letting you take pictures!  I mean they aren't THAT exclusive. Just my 6 cents!

I found the first dress I loved there but I wanted to see it in a different color.  I fill out two customer cards and they lost both.  They were supposed to order me swatches but never did.  One of my great BMs found my dress online (since I wasn't allowed to know the designer) and we went straight to Brides and Grooms!  I loved Brides and Grooms SO much that i ended up getting a totally different dress!

Fantasia does not have a good reputation and I know of a bride that ordered a dress there and the wong dress came in. The sales peopl were very rude to her about it and called her stupid and said that was the dress she wanted.
I have great experiences at Bridal and Tuxedo Shoppe in the Astro Shopping Center on Kirkwood Hwy. They can order any Maggie dress and will match price. Ask for Carmella - she is a great consultant and seamstress and knows how to dress any size, any shape perfectly - she is FABULOUS!!
Brides and Grooms will also match price ansd carry Maggie.
