We FINALLY ordered the girls dresses! I know it's late, as we have less than 4 months to go, and trust me many many many prayers will be said that we won't be left high and dry because of ordering them late.
My FMIL found a dress; it took her 20 minutes at one store (Boscov's, they had some wonderful dresses), while it took my mom 20 stores and 3 weeks. Sigh, at least everyone is clothed!
I just got the call today that MY INVITES ARE IN! I cannot cannot cannot wait to see them; we will probably go pick them up this weekend!
Less than 4 months from yesterday; EEK! I still have some things I need to book (Limo, Seamstress, Hotel Block), and some appts need to be done (cake tasting, in house florist for centerpieces, pick out linens, pick out rehearsal dinner menu, schedule hair/mu trial, do bouquet mockups, and meet with my photog). Then I have other little things that need to be done (get the escort cards, find a hair item for my FG, finish getting all the BP gifts, get shoes, get a crinoline, get FI's ring, do the unity candle, pick out our ceremony items/verses, work with church to create the program, do a private meeting with the baker for FI's grooms cake, and little stuff).
We also need to figure out our HM, which will probably be delayed for a bit because of money. If we need to keep it relatively inexpensive, we are most likely going to do Disney. If, though, we get some extra money (from FI's family, as they are traditionalists and want to pay the traditional way, which includes them paying for the HM), we are really considering doing Italy.
Finally, I need to work on my bridal shower invites (yes, I am making my own; since I know about the date and all, plus I scrapbook, my mom found a bridal shower stamp set on clearance at ACM and she/my sisters asked if I wanted to help; since I will be recouping from surgery, and won't be able to do anything else, I said sure. I think that's why they asked; to give me something to do while I get better).
I feel out of sorts, like I am missing something and still have alot to do, but I really don't think I have that much to do; I think I am just stressing because it's getting close. I can't believe that I have less than 4 months
