Since most of you gals are from 'north of the canal' so to speak, I doubt most of you have heard of my reception venue.  But I'll share it anyways.  It's The Brick Hotel on the Circle in Georgetown.  It's a really pretty little historic hotel and I think it's just perfect for the small(ish) wedding that we have planned.  The coordinator there, Reinie, is super sweet and helpful!  And since it's a hotel we're able to to stay there the night of the wedding and head out to the airport the next morning.  Yay!

Thats gorgeous!!!!!!!!!  My reception is in a hall of a lodge so there is no pretty landscaping. But theres a cute park with water and flowers across the street. The gazebo we are using is pretty nice. Judge for yourself.

Oh thats so cool!  I recognized the white fountain things in the background   I used to spend sooo much time there as a kid.  Wed always take the dog for a walk around the pond.  Thats a great spot for pics, and the gazebo is in a marina, if I remember right?  You could get some very cool pics by the boats also

Yes there is a canal right there...we wanted an outdoor ceremony preferably by some water and that was the best we could come up with. We didn't want to do a beach wedding in October.

Santorini - we started with a guest count of 70-100, so we booked the Windsor on the 1st Floor.  There are other poeple on the NJ board who are getting married in the large room on the 3rd floor (ot sure what it's called).  We also considered the Tiffany room, but my mom loved the Windsor so we went with that.
