I saw you posted that you are using Alicia Cohen for your photography. I LOVE her work. She has everything I am looking for. I sent her an e-mail through the website last week but I haven't heard back yet. How is she?

So far, so good.  We've only had one meeting with her and that was a couple of months ago when we first booked her.  FI and I are actually meeting with her tonight to finalize everything for next Saturday.  Her albums were really beautiful, but we had a small budget so we just went with the per hour rate package and we're getting a CD of our images and rights to print.

She's in the process of getting herself more organized right now judging from the latest posts on her blog and she might be really busy with weddings right now.  She's very nice and laid back.  We really loved her work so that was all that mattered

Yeah I did see her blog. Still haven't heard from her though. I've been searching for other options for photographers but I still can't find anything to compare with her work that I can slightly afford. I just love it. Hopefully I hear from her soon. I have plenty of time before the wedding but I just want to make sure my date is available to her. If not then I have to keep looking    My budget is 1500 - 2000. What you did sounds good. Her pics to me are worth making my own albums!

I see you're over a year out and I booked her at the end of April 2010 for August 14th 2010.  So she's not one of those "so high in demand she books out a year in advance" photogs.  Yet   Luckily, she's still affordable and available, but I think she could get there.

Thanks for the input! That's good to know. I feel a little better. Maybe I will try calling too just to follow up. I know it's going to be a crazy week for you!! Try to stay relaxed if you can!   and thanks again!
