Let's try this again... dress shops

About a 1.5 weeks ago, I asked for dress shop suggestions in Wilmington/Philly. I thought I found the perfect place in Brides and Grooms in Newark, but I can only drive up on a Sunday and they're now closed. (For the record, Bridal and Tuxedo Shoppe is closed on Sundays, too.)

So ... hoping some more people will chime in with suggestions. I'm looking for a bridal store with a good selection of dresses under $1,000 that's open on a Sunday in northern Delaware or Lower Philadelphia. (Just over the Delaware Memorial Bridge in Jersey would work, too.)

I'm meeting a friend from Northern Jersey to look, so I don't really want to go any farther south than NCCO so she doesn't have to drive more than 2.5 hours.

Suggestions? Thanks!

I know for a fact that Alfred Angelo is opened on Sundays.  They are located in Lancaster, PA...about 1 hour from here.  They have a lot of dresses (in many sizes and styles).  Best thing to do is call and schedule an appointment for first thing Sunday when they open.  The sales staff is very friendly.

If you head to Alfred Angelo's and find a dress, make sure to call on a weekday and check out pricing at both Brides and Grooms and Bridal and Tuxedo Outlet.  Brides and Grooms beat the Alfred Angelo store by more than $100.

There is also an AA store in Baltimore, pretty sure.

I purchased my dress and my bridesmaids dresses from Alfred Angelo.  I have been to the Lancaster store & the Baltimore/Glen Burnie store.  I did all of my business in Glen Burnie cause its alot bigger ( 3xs as big) and has alot better selection.

Either way - if you're going on the weekend, def make an appointment.  It's the busiest time!  And the appointments can take over an hour to really get what suits you!  If everyone else has an appointment and you dont, you're gonna be unhappy!
