Boise Wedding HAAEEEELLLPPPP!!!

I'm planning a modern/minimalist secular wedding for the CW Moore Plaza in Boise, and I am at a LOSS as to where to get what I need.  Whenever I check out things like cakes, flowers, decor, photos, etc. everything looks the same.  Traditional poses, super detailed fluffy cakes, cascades of flowers, ribbons and bows and fluffs and poufs and...*seizure*

Can anyone recommend any outstanding vendors in the Boise area that don't do stuff EXACTLY like all the other typical weddings?  I'd greatly appreciate it.

I did my own flowers so I'm not much help there.

We loved CKG photography, and we had some fun pillows and table runners made by a local seamstress. We ordered flowers online...great deal and had local florist put them together. We found a friend who did an amazing cake. My daughter had a vision and used Google to find what she wanted.  Lots of looking, but we found it. http://www.pbidaho.com/featuredwedding.php

Chocolate Bluebird is an awesome place to check out for your cake. It's a tiny little shop in Nampa on Garrity--but don't let the look of it scare you away!  The owner is incredibly nice and does a really beautiful job on his wedding cakes.  Unfortunately, their website doesn't do them justice, but here it is for you to check out anyway: www.chocolatebluebird.com

Greg March Designer Cakes in Eagle is who we are using because he does fantasic different designs. I think his website is www.gregmarshdesigns.com
With flowers if you sit down and talk with them tell them what you are wanting and ask them to show you what it might look like. Boise at It's Best did this for me.
