Ok everyone. My wedding was on May 30th! Here are just a few reviews..Flowers: Bloomworks Floral (ebloomworks.com) Council Bluffs- Alisa is so amazing to work with. She will work with any budget and works with you. You don't have to skimp or make the flowers yourself if you are on a budget..go see Alisa!! The flowers were spectacular. I can't recommend her enough. A+++Food: Main Event Catering- Amazing food for a great price. SO easy to work with. Serena gets back to you on e-mail so fast and walks you through everything. Fantastic A+Alterations: Linda Lee in Council Bluffs. I know a lot of you girls use her. She is amazing. She is so affordable and can do anything. She is easy to get in with and fun to work with. A+Dress and Bridesmaids Dresses: David's in Omaha..ehh.. They are ok. The sales associates are nothing spectacular. Made me feel like I was just another number ordering many bridesmaids dresses. Quality was ok. B-Place: Bayliss Park Hall in Council Bluffs- Very beautiful and affordable. Easy to work with and many of the vendors knew them. Also..bringing your own food and alcohol can help

ABeverage Caterer: Cornhusker Beverage- great except since the event was in CB we had to pick up the alcohol. The bartender was good and they helped us figure out a few signature drinks. They also bought back what we didn't use. A-Invitations and Stationary: Alaun by Design in Papillion. SOOO amazing. Loved everything they did for us. Merissa is great to work with and a great value. They can do anything! Made our little favor boxes and everything. A++Chair Covers: Chair Cover Elegance- Easy to work with, we made a plan they came ..set up and took it all down. Really helped the hall look better. APhotographer: Jill Janke- ahhhhhhhmazing. Jill is the nicest photographer I have ever encountered. She took some great pictures and wasn't thousands of dollars.. I HIGHLY recommend her to any bride.
http://www.jilljankephotography.com She is worth it. A +++DJ: Adam Davis with Complete Music- SOOO cool...helpful and laid back. Just what we wanted. He helped me get the nerve to walk down that aisle. haha. He did a great job and met with us before. He hit everything we wanted and when we wanted to scratch something he had no problem. A+Hair/Makeup: Marie Gould (sanctuary salon) . I really love her. She came to us and did the hair and makeup at the event. She is an amazing person and stylist. Can't recommend her enough.
http://www.sanctuarysalonomaha.com/ A+++And the best part...the cake. My family and I are from Massachusetts. My dad is a pastry chef. So when I had to find someone else to make my cake I was very picky. I have eaten my fair share of cake and like items throughout my years..haha. I used the Cake Specialist in Bellevue. They cakes are so moist and delicious. She will make anything you want. For the groomscake she made my Boston Terrier out of cake...oh yes. Jayme is very talented and it is a family buisness that I am so thankful for. I tried all the cakes out there....all of them. Every vendor you can imagine. They really stood out and the talent is apparent. I would for sure set up a tasting, you won't be let down.
