Seperate hair appointments

Ok, while bridesmaid dress shopping (my mom was there too), I told the girls where I was getting my hair done and that they could join me or go to their salon of choice.  My mom just informed me that she and my MOH sister are getting their hair and make-up done at a different salon than me (they will go to the same salon).  I guess I didn't think THEY would go somewhere different.  Am I wrong to be upset about this?  I just want my mom and sister to be with me me the whole day.  I know I'll probably be a nervous wreck and will need their support.  Should I tell my mom how I feel, or just suck it up and stick by what I said?

Did your mom and sister say why they chose to go elsewhere?  I would definitely ask and go from there.  Maybe you can find somewhere that works for everyone... or at least the three of you.  I don't blame you for wanting them there!

I am not sure if I am right or not either, but I just told my mom and bridesmaids where I booked our appointments at. I would talk to your mom about it...and see what she says, if she insists that she wants to go where she wants...could you switch to that salon?

I agree with you in that I would want my mom and sister there with me. It's such a special day and I know that you want to spend it with the people closest to you. I would just be honest with your mom. If for some reason she really wants to go to a different salon, maybe she can make her appointment for earlier then yours, and then be at your salon with you for your appointment. If it won't work out, I wouldn't stress over it too much. It will only be for a little while, but I do agree with you, I'd prefer them to there as well.

Thanks for all your help girls!  I decided my salon wasn't nearly as important as being with my family, so I am going to their salon (Gloss)
