In case you're using Complete Video...

I got married on 9/5/09 and am still waiting to receive my wedding video from Complete Video.  The contract says it should've taken 6-8 weeks (the videographer told us 8).  At 10 weeks I called and inquired and their customer service was terrible.  It took forever for the general manager to respond to my (and my mom's) inquiries and finally we were told they had more videos to edit than they expected and that they were behind on production but that it'd be 2 more weeks.  At 12 weeks, I inquired again and, again was told it should be ready within 2 weeks.  It's been 17 weeks now and still no video and still no polite emails or calls from the general manager about our estimated timeline.  I can only hope that when we DO receive it, the quality will be good.  I'm very worried.

Also, at my reception, they put the WRONG SLIDESHOW dvd in our case, so my DJ unknowingly started playing a slideshow of  another couple.  He wasn't able to get the correct DVD (I'm guessing Complete forgot to burn it) so he had to scramble to play the slideshow from the link Complete had originally sent me so that I could tell them if it looked okay.  I had them edit it, but this link was the original so my edits weren't even in there.)  Fortunately no one knew it wasn't quite what I wanted but it was still frustrating.

Just wanted to put a word of warning out there if you're considering Complete Video.  Get another videographer, you'll get much better service.

Please note that Complete Music is fine, it's the video side that's bad. We used their DJ service and James Cloyd was our DJ and we absolutely loved him.  Very fun, classy guy, and I recommend him to everybody!

I used them for video only when I got married back in 2006.  Same thing happened with me.  We got married in October andI flew back for Thanksgiving and it wasn't ready.  Flew back in December for xmas and it was finally ready.

Although it took a while to get back, (we were told 4 to 6 wks) I will say this much.  The video was worth the wait!!!  He caught things on video I never would have seen.  He caught me doing my lipstick before going down the aisle and I never saw him anywhere near me.  Tons of stuff was on the video that I never saw happen or would have known happened since I was in the bridal chamber before the ceremony.  It was a lot of fun watching everything that he caught and the interview questions of us.

Sorry that you are still waiting, but if it turns out well, you'll be very happy.  The whole family and us included were blown away by the quality.  Hang in there! :)  They're a popular company and there are a lot of brides lol

Thanks Cerissa, I'm hoping the video is as great as yours sounds.  Our videographer was nice and seemed like he got everything.  It better be an outstanding video though, for having to wait 4+ months!
