Hi ladies!!
Our wedding was March 19th in downtown Columbus and I wanted to share our experience with the vendors we used. Overall, we were happy with every vendor we picked. Our engagement was nearly a year and a half so we had plenty of time to research vendors before we booked them, and research we did! But, it DEFINITELY paid off. Not only did they do a good job, but they also worked extremely well together and sincerely added to the atmosphere of the day. *Ana Titus: A+++ - Ana was absolutely amazing and by far, the most instrumental vendor for our wedding! It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the wedding day and know that Ana was taking care of the details. Although we didn’t have any major catastrophes, she was there to put out any minor fire that arose. Even my dad commented on what a great job she did, and he's difficult to impress. Not only did her work exceed expectations, she is also truly a wonderful person. She was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process J
*Dress & Veil: Bella Laccio Bridal: A++ - My favorite aspect of Bella Laccio was that at no point did I feel pressured to purchase; I felt like Jen sincerely wanted me to have the dress that was best for me, and if that wasn’t at her shop that would have been ok with her. Ironically, this made me want to purchase from her even more and I was lucky enough to find my wedding dress, a short dress for the reception, my veil, and my necklace at her location. In addition, Jen was willing to hold my dress for me at her shop for months until I was ready to get it altered. She went over and above in her kindness, and made me feel like I was dress shopping with a girlfriend.

*Bustle: Linda Hine: C - Getting my dress through Bella Laccio, it was ordered based on my measurements, so no alterations were needed. But, I did need a bustle put in and went to Linda per recommendation on The Knot and from Bella Laccio Bridal. I know that Linda comes highly regarded, but I was actually disappointed – the bustle she put in was beautiful, but it would not stay up. Thankfully, the train on my dress was small enough that this wasn’t a huge dilemma, I was just a little bummed because I really liked the bustle and wanted it to work!
*Hair: Shannon Goode: A - I found Shannon through other posts on this board. She came to us day-of and did mine, my mom’s, and my sister’s hair (we did not have a bridal party). All of us were pleased with our do’s and at their lasting power throughout the day – my hair looked just as good at midnight as it had at noon!
*Joy Bemis: A - I believe I also found Joy through this board, but I can’t remember. She was actually the third person I had a makeup trial with… I’m sincerely not a picky person in terms of my makeup, but I did want a certain atmosphere day-of and Joy’s personality fit perfectly. She’s extremely personable and kept my mind of any wedding-day jitters. I had the airbrush makeup applied and I loved the finished result! If only I could have my makeup done every day…
