Two egg-related thoughts:We bought eggs the other day that expire on the day of our wedding.  That really made me realize how close it is - one month now!  And when I was on the phone with my mom a few days ago, she started asking about grandkids.  When I told her that FI and I don't plan to have kids for several years, at least, she told me that my eggs are getting old (yes, she actually said this) so we can't wait too long.  After I stopped laughing, I told her that since I'm only 26, I've got at least 14 years left.

    Lol at your eggs getting old. FI thinks he is getting too old for kids too. He is only 30! He thinks he will be too old to play with his grandkids. My dad was 30 when I was born and I don't think he's too old! But we do plan to start trying right away.Congrats on one month left, its getting so close!

    Funny, cracks me up!  I will be 28 by the time we are married and yes I'm a little bit 'behind schedule' but I'm not sweatin it!

    Interesting on the edible eggs. WAY too funny on your Mom's comments. 26 is not too old. My sister waited until 30 and I think she, personally, is a better Mom for it. I am 27 and FI will be 35 by the time we are married, we don't plan to try until at least a year after marriage~ Hope we aren't too old :). I can't quit laughing.

    LOL! That is funny. Don't worry about "your" eggs...both my grandmother and mother waited until 30 to have kids. I will be 29 when we get married and my FI will be 45, we plan on having kids in the next 3-5 years, don't worry, this gives you a chance to live and then be ready to settle down. On a side note, my mother told me that she thought I needed to settle down and start a family, aka produce grandkids. It was funny!

    OMG I am laughing so hard right now!!!!!  And Congrats on one month to go, it will fly by...You are not too old to have kids!!!  However, I had my son at 17 and my daughter at 22 and I love that they consider me a "young" mom...They are now 21 and 17...and it is great!!!  I am just waiting on grandkids, not that I am rushing either of them.  My hubby and I have tossed around the idea of adopting one, but I think I am much to old to be starting now, but I told him I would if it was truly what he wanted!!!  LOL, now I think he wants to wait for grandkids, the honeymoon was just too awesome...Can't get that freedom with a little one!!!  Even my Matron of Honor toasted to us having many more puppies!!!!  LOL
