DJ Recommendations Needed

Does anyone have suggestions for a good DJ. We don't want to spend a ton on money, but we want our wedding to be really fun. Someone had mentioned Knight Life and Absolute Music. Thoughts? Suggestions?

    We are using Nick Walke with Jambox LLC, he has been great to work with!

    Eek, we could use suggestions, too.  We just hit up the two wedding fairs in Des Moines today, and all the DJs seemed reeeally cheesy!  One of them was dancing to "Ladies Night", it was like watching Jon Lovitz in "The Wedding Singer"...

    Thanks for everyone's advice. We ended up booking Absolute Music today (extra $100 off plus $100 off for our season.) I went around to wedding planners and hotels, and talked to them since they see weddings all the time. I heard about Knight Life the most and Absolute was up there. Budget ended up being our deciding factor.

    My dad wants to hire a guy he knows, I told my dad I needed references and his company name so I can google him.  But, I also went to the bridal fair this weekend, and totally agree, some of them were pretty cheesy.  My future sister in law recommends Parmsportaparty.com she went to a wedding they did and said it was awesome.  I met them at the bridal show and they seemed like they had good personalities for DJs and my sister in law says they kept the party going!

    I highly suggest Puttin' On The Hitz.  Our dance floor was PACKED all night long... and we got an off-season discount.  Tell Michael that Molly sent ya ;)
