RSVP vent

Okay, so really how hard is it to check a box on an RSVP card and put it back in the mail!!!!!  I even went to the trouble of setting up a mail merge so they don't even have to write their own names on the card.  Just check the box, put it in the self addressed, stamped envelope, and put it in the mail box.  Is that really so difficult?  The due date is Sunday and so far out of 143 invitations that were sent, we still have 63 that haven't come back!

We did the mail merge thing, too, and I think that probably saved a lot of stress.I hear 'ya on the late RSVPs, though.  We had a better response rate than that, but it was annoying because almost all of our non-RSVPers were on Mr. Gem's side.  Since they were mostly extended-extended family or friends of his parents', we had no phone numbers or e-mail addresses or anything, and I felt like I was pestering the (then) FIL's for responses before the numbers had to be turned in.  Good luck!

I hear you, no matter how simple you make it for people they still don't respond. We had to kinda wing our head count for the reception because so many people failed to RSVP. I was nervous at first when we gave the head count because so many people didn't RSVP and other people told us they may or may not bring their significant other. I finally just did my best guess and figure oh well nothing I can do about it.
