The leaves are finally changing....

Which means, Within the next week or two we are going to try to take our engagement pics. I am so excited. Except...neither of us are picture people. Anyone have any good ideas for people like us to get some great pics??

Not picture people meaning you don't like having your picture taken, or you don't feel the camera loves you...I never like how after a few pics my smile begins to feel fake. I would say for that particular problem to go with more "artsy" photos. Ones that don't focus so much on the two of you staring at the camera smiling, but rather having your photographer capture natural moments as you are walking around and finding great spots for pictures. I hope that rambling is making sense :).

we fall into both categories haha....we hate having them taken and we hate how we look. oh well....I think we are going to the Moffitt Resevoir. Our photographer says it is a very beautiful place so hopefully that will help. He also doesn't like taken the "staring straight at the camera" pics. he likes the more natural ones also so hopefully it all goes well. Lets just hope the weather gets better

Don't take this the wrong way, but I helped myself to a stiff drink prior to our engagement photo session. I'm not saying go out and hit the bars before your pictures, but a drink just helped to take the edge off. I was much more relaxed and my smile just came more naturally...
