Registering Tonight!

FI and I are going to dinner and registering at BBB tonight. Sooo super excited! Any tips or suggestions? Have you girls allready registered? Where at? How was your experience?

    We did it Saturday! It was fun but exhausting, we did Target, Kohl's and Menards. Yes menards! FI does a lot of wood working and my family love Menards.

    It's like shopping for stuff you hope! haha. It was a lot of fun though. I had a list but didn't use it much untill we were done to make sure we got everything.

    My philosophy when I registered was to register for whatever I saw that I wanted and then I went back online and checked it later.  I ended up deleting some things that I had double registered for at two different places or seeing some things that I missed that I had to go back and register for.

    We are not doing the usual registry because it's not our first wedding and our problem right now s trying to merge two houses in one, so we have everything doubled.
    Instead, we did a honeymoon registry, but for the very traditional guests, we pick a couple items in JC Penney.

    We weren't going to register as this is a second marriage for both of us.  But, we've been getting a lot of, "Where are you registered?" so we decided we'll register somewhere. 

    We also had the double of everything issue.  We truly don't need anything.  I didn't know that you can register at Menards though.  That is awesome.  We will either be purchasing an existing home which we will put an addition onto plus a lot of remodeling, or building a new house, so we will be regulars at Menards.  lol!

    Update: BBB was a blast. FI had alot of fun with it and that made it even more fun! I am going to stalk the website online later and add some things we have missed. We are also going to register at Target over the next couple weeks.
