It's Wednesday, half way through the work week. So I thought it'd be nice to take a little break from work/school/childcare/whatever you don't want to do, and have a little poll. Just for the fun of it!

What type of cake/pie is your favorite?!

Are you having any "surprises" at your wedding?

What type of cake/pie is your favorite?!
Chocolate for sure!!  But, I rarely find a cake I don't like.  Pie would probably be strawberry/rhubarb.

Nope

Are you having the Ceremony and Reception in the same place? Or different places?
Different places.  A church for the ceremony and the reception venue is about 2-3 miles away. 

When you are sick, what's the 1st thing you do, ie wrap up in a blanket...?
Whine!  And then veg out on the couch!

Hmmmmm, I agree with Chocolate. However for pie, it's not really pie but cheesecake. It was Red Velvet Cheesecake!!

Not as of now, who knows?!!?

Different!! Ceremony at the golf course, and reception at the events center!!

Lay down, SLEEP!!! That's what I need!!

I love chocolate cake! Pie, however, is more difficult--I'm stuck between lemon meringue and cherry. Although, now I am thinking about rhubarb after it was mentioned above!!

Not that I know of yet. I'm thinking about doing a groom's cake--if I do, that would be a surprise to the groom!

Yes, we are having (hopefully) an outdoor ceremony at the Iowa 4-H Center at one of their look-out points and the reception will be in the main lodge that is also on the grounds just a short walk away. If it rains then we will do everything in the lodge. It has two walls that are windows, so I think it would provide a nice backdrop if need bee.

I put on the most comfortable pair of sweats I own and then crawl into bed and sleep.

I have many favorite cakes like Tres Leches, Red Velvet, Fruit Cake. My favorite pie is Key Lime Pie.

Hmmmm.......maybe!!!

Different places. We are getting married in a non denominational church and the reception will be in a winery.
