Hair and make up cost

Hi ladies, I wanted to know if someone can give me an idea about price for hair and make up for the wedding party. I am thinking about to pay for them as a treat for my girls and would love to have an idea of how much we are talking about.. Thanks.

I found a place that will come to you(the info's at work so i'll add when I go) it believe it was 55 a BM, and 85 for you. They will come do your hair and makeup wherever you are getting ready. Now if you go to the salon I have priced out about 35-45 a BM and anywhere from 60-75 for a Bride.

I think that 2 years ago when I got my hair done at the same salon you are going to it was $35 to get my hair done for being a bridesmaid.  I have no idea how much it is to get makeup done.  I also have no idea have much it is for the brides hair.  Do you need  me to stop there and find out or I can ask one of the ladies who work there (a couple of them have kids that go to my daycare/preschool).

I just looked at their website (www.salontief.com) and they have a price list on there.  It is $40 for a bridemaid updo and $50 for a bride.  I could not find the price for make-up.

I am using my regular hair girl (she's always booked) and her sister and it's $45 per person for hair.  As for makeup, I found a girl who is coming to the hair place and is only charging $20 each!!!  Her name is Mandi Savage.  I'm sure you can find her on facebook and I believe she just opened her own salon and probably does hair too.  (PS- The $20 also included fake lashes!!!!)

You can also go to the MAC place at Younkers and they will often come do makeup wherever you want on their "off day" at work, kind of like a side job.  I went to the place and gave them my name and information and they said they'd have someone call me if they were available, but no one ever called.    But it's a suggestion!  Also, if you have facebook, I just posted as a status asking if anyone knew of anyone and lots of my friends had friends they knew or contact numbers for people.

Sara, thanks a lot for the site. I could see they have a lot of services there that I had no idea they had and I am interested in some of them. What a great board is this Iowa one!!!!

I am getting hair and makeup done at Estilo Salon.

Bride's hair: $65

BM hair: $50

Make-up: $35/person

Although, this woman who is doing make-up for $20 and including lashes sounds very intriguing.....!!!
