Bridesmaids shoes?

Are you having your bridesmaids match their shoes?  They all want to but now I've been trying to find shoes I like that come in sizes for all of them and its turned into a pain although now I think the idea is cute!  What is everyone else doing?

I'm not too picky about this. Since my BMs forked over cash for dresses (they probably will never wear again), I said no way am I going to make them buy new shoes (that they might not wear again). I think a couple are going to get new ones, and that's great. I just said black or pewter with an open toe and go with that.

I only have a MOH so she doesn't have to match anyone.  Are your BM dresses longer?  If they are, are their shoes going to be showing at any point.  I told my MOH I didnt' care what shoes she wore as long as they were comfortable and she can walk in them.  She is getting black flats, and I'm totally ok with that. Peoples feet are really different and while one person might be ok in heels all day, someone else might be in total pain.  I say let them wear what they want for shoes.  I was in a wedding last summer where we had shorter dresses, so you could see our shoes and we all just wore silver shoes.  I thought it looked fine.

Since my BM picked their own black dresses, they will all be wearing the same black shoes.  I found them for $35 at DSW, and they will all wear them again, so it was a win-win!

I just told them silver and strappy.  It's up to them from there.

I told my girl black and that was it!  I want them to be comfy so want them to pick shoes that work for them.  I don't think shoes need to match, no one will notice!

I bought my bridesmaids (and myself!) matching ivory, dressy flip flops.  I'll wear mine during the reception.  I am including the flip flops in their gifts.  I found them at a pretty decent price with free shipping online.

Where did you find the dressy flip flops at?

I'm letting them pick out their own shoes for the ceremony.  I'm giving them flip flops that they can change into after the ceremony (so they aren't spending the whole night in heels)  and I would also like a picture of us taken in the flip flops.  Their dresses are tea length but I'm not picky about having matching shoes at all.  Their dresses are their own style as well just the same length.  I want them to be comfortable.

I told them silver and let them pick their own. That way if they want to wear flats they can or if they want to wear heels they can.  Everyone likes to wear different things so I don't want to force them into one type that they might be uncomfortable in.

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on at all since my last post.  I ordered them from here http://www.vonmaur.com/Product.aspx?ID=43222&pg=1.  I had to order one pair directly from Nina because they didn't have the size available.  My bridesmaid dresses have an ivory sash so they match perfectly.
