I'm so excited!  I tried calling my oldest sis to tell her, but her phone was busy.  I didn't want to call my other sis cuz I wanted to keep it a secret from her since her daughter is one of our flower girls, but I just couldn't help myself... our flowergirls are carrying purses down the isle.  Their purses are yellow and made of M&M wrappers!!! lol  We also got a pinwheel for all four kids (2 ringbearers, 2 flowergirls), and we got the girls a Strawberry Shortcake coloring book and a box of 8 neon crayons.  We still need to go shopping for the two tractors the boys are going to carry down the isle.  I'm so excited about it all that I just had to tell somebody!  We also got the paper that I'm going to print our invitations on (lime green), and we might have the design figured out; I just need to show it to the FH first.  I was just about show him when his beeper went off for a fire call; I've never seen him move so fast before! lol  Anyways... I'm excited.  Now, I just need to make maps to the farm from diff. parts of the state and Missouri, and I need to contact the hotel(s) to have them reserve a block of rooms.  That's a good question... how soon do I need to contact the hotels?  Our goal is to get inviations out by July 1st, and the wedding is Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4th).  We need to register sometime too.  How soon should we do that?

That is exciting! My advice for the hotel timing would be to go ahead and do it once you figure out good option(s) for you. My wedding's in October, and one hotel I called even 10 or so months out already had a big group booked and only 10 rooms left. so we also have a bigger block at another hotel and they had plenty of availability, so you never know. And for registering, I'm not sure what the general guideline would be, but I'd aim to have them done at least month or two before your first shower if you're having one. I know people are already asking me where we're registered and my shower isn't until July.
