RSVP Advice

We sent out our invitations a couple weeks ago. We've been getting our RSVP's back in the mail and I wish I could go back and re-do them! First, make sure the "I'm coming" and "I'm not coming" portion is VERY different from one another. We did "I/we can't wait," and "I/we can't attend." Many people are checking the wrong box!! We think it's because they are too similiar. Also, put a little secret number on the back of each RSVP so you know who sent it back. We've had a couple with no names and we have NO idea who they came from. Just thought I would pass that along to anyone who hasn't sent theirs out yet! Cool

Re: RSVP Advice

  • I guess I will just have to kind of do the "process of elimination" thing! :( But our RSVP deadline is Sunday and we are still waiting on a ton of people to respond. I have heard so many RSVP horror stories, but I never actually thought it would happen! haha BAYB153, I got excited too... just totally forgot!

  • I am keeping my fingers crossed that by replacing "M___________" with "Name(s)_______" people won't forget to put their names on our RSVP cards... I thought about numbering them but honestly just wanted to get the invites out!  They just started coming back a couple of days ago and so far, so good (fingers crossed.)
  • I know that this is iffy etiquette-wise, but I am doing computer rsvp's. I will only do the mail replys for grandparents or people I know have no internet access. I am a disabled bride, with a blown out wrist, (on my right & dominant hand, no less!) and it is just too much work for me to manage one handed. The more I can copy and paste info, the better!
